A Touching Story
January 25, 2015
.
So, today, I had a scheduled pickup for two signs. These two signs were ordered by a man for his Mom's birthday.
The order was for two signs, but the sentiments were from the perspective of being a Grandmother.. So, the sentiments were from his children.
I met him, we discussed what he wanted, colours, size etc. Awesome.
From his description, and my sending him ideas, he agreed. Super!!!
A few weeks later...pick up day....
This man arrives with his bright eyed 7 year old daughter. She walks in, all confident, with a brilliant smile and hands me an envelope. I am figuring that her Dad, has given her the envelope with my payment in the envelope. We are all chatting, and I am holding this envelope, and feel something protruding, so I say to this lovely little girl, is this for me? She nods, yes. May I open it I ask. She nods yes.
I open it. This envelope does not contain cash, rather a hand drawn thank you note AND a hand made key chain for ME, for MOI!!!!!! What?????
I react thrilled and touched and am so beyond words. This little girl, took the time to create her piece of art for me. Obviously, she has been brought up well by her parents, who I am proud to say that they are my customers. This little 7 year old girl wanted to see where I create my signs. This little girl is the future of our arts. I am so excited to say that I met her.

As the recipient of those two heartwarming signs I can’t describe how touched I am. At the tender age of 6 Avery is already a very thoughtful, kind and loving person. I am so very lucky to have both Avery and her little brother Jacob in my life. They fill my bucket!! Nana
