Friday's Here

It was a great week once again.  I was part of a surprise.  I was asked to paint up seven signs for a lady.  She and six of her friends had planned a get-away weekend, and together they came up with a name for this get-away.   So, as a surprise for all of her friends, she ordered the signs and each of her friends were gifted with one of the above.  I would really like to have been part of that weekend, the sign says it all, right up my alley!!!

With each order that I receive, a special story comes along with it.  I feel like I get to know my customers just by listening to them, and while I paint up their special request I find myself smiling as I think about them and their personal story that they have shared with me.

As always, I hold my breath when I hand over their order, awaiting their reaction.  I have not yet been let down, Phew!

With that I will leave you, and am on my way to make another delivery.

Saturday's Sharing

I have been wanting to start a blog for awhile now, and after this weeks happenings, I thought there is no better time than now to share my wonderful week.

It started off with last week, when I received an email from someone that I had never met asking me to paint up a sign for her.  I got it done, met her, and she was so happy with it, she ordered two more signs.

Then, my week continues along and I have a meeting with someone for two hours, working out all the details of what she wants,  meanwhile laughing away and having a very good time with each other...eight orders later I am on my way.

The next day, yesterday, I have a customer who ordered seven signs, and we make an appointment for pickup, and I will now finally get to meet her in person too.  Well, seriously, could she have been any sweeter?  She was thrilled with her order, and when she bid me goodbye, she gave me a hug!

I have to share all these happenings, why keep them to myself, everyone needs to know what wonderful people I have been dealing with.

Until I am back again, I wish you all a happy day.
